Territory

9,800 hectares, of which 38,03 % are buildings, 1,41 % - roads, 8,45 % - agricultural lands, 22,54 % - areas of natural growth, 14,08 % - water areas, and 15,49 % - areas of other designation.

Population

202,500 inhabitants. Ethnic descent: 63 % are Lithuanian, 28,2 % - Russian, 2,7 % - Byelorussia, 0,5 - Polish, and 5,6 % - of other descents.
